Artisan’s Rowanbank Gardens Scoops Best Residential Development Award at 2024 RICS Scottish Awards

We are delighted to announce that Artisan Real Estate’s groundbreaking Rowanbank Gardens in Corstorphine, Edinburgh has won the Residential Development category at the 2024 Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Scottish Awards.

The win heralds the start of a busy award week for Artisan, with Rowanbank Gardens also being nominated for the national UK Green Awards for best building project on 12th June. We are also on the shortlist for two awards at the Scottish Homes Awards on 13th June – Apartment Development of the Year and Environmental Excellence.

The sun is shining on our Rowanbank Gardens development

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise industry-leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics by individuals and teams across the built and natural environments. We are all naturally excited that our efforts in enabling Rowanbank Gardens to raise the bar for environmental and technical excellence in homebuilding are now being recognised at this highest level.

All regional winners have now been shortlisted for the RICS Awards Grand Final, taking place in London on in October. Each project will compete at national level, with one of the national winning projects being awarded the ultimate accolade of Project of the Year.

Speaking at the award ceremony at Edinburgh Futures Institute on June 11th, Colin Smith, chair of the Scotland RICS Awards judging panel, said: “These winning projects are a true testament to the hard work and dedication of industry professionals in Scotland. The talent and collaborative approaches undertaken by the teams behind these projects have resulted in exemplary and innovative schemes that really do represent the very best built projects across Scotland.

“RICS is delighted to recognise the hard work that went behind ensuring these projects were delivered successfully and I wish the winning projects the best of luck in the grand final later this year.”
