"In the Beginning, God Said"

Everywhere you look, there's trouble. You can't get out of bed in the morning without hearing negative news. It's become a recurring theme for certain folks, a way of life. According to Wikipedia, 10 and a half people out of 100,000 people commit suicide daily. Isn't this alarming? According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), More than 700 000 people die due to suicide every year. For every suicide, there are many more people who attempt suicide. Wow! I hear an outcry from young people about why things are not going just right. We were planning a survival strategy for COVID-19 and what looked like a 3rd World War just started in Ukraine.

What is God's disposition when things go bizarre? 

But in the beginning, it was not so.

Tribulations, trouble, war, reproach, and oppression shall not cease. If anyone tells you otherwise, check the trust you have in that person again.

These won't stop. 

However, life on earth operates on principles. The book of Genesis recorded how God addresses problems from their very root. 

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1:1-2

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. Genesis 1:3-5

God's creative power is in what He says. Your mouth remains your greatest weapon. However, people, many times speak against their future.

Parents have used their own mouths to destroy the future of their children and they wonder why these children do not prosper.

Do you want to see things move in the right direction?

Start saying what you want to see.

“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up, and he shall save the humble person. Job 22:29

“By faith we understand that the universe was framed by the word of God, so that things that are seen were not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3”

A lot of times, people ask me; “how did you survive as a houseboy?

They say again; “your story is unbelievable.”

However, I have not even started yet.

The houseboy story will be told in the White House someday.

I remember unraveling tear-rubber cars those years in the middle of the night and key praying, “this is how men will wash my own cars.”

I remember cleaning newly built duplexes by my boss and kept declaring “this is how people will wash my own houses.”

I was maltreated but I was obedient because I wanted the blessing.

What do you do when challenges come your way? 

Do you remain negative and destroy your future by what you say?

Anger and hopelessness are the biggest cause of depression that leads to suicide.

Get out of that shape. The oppression, the wickedness, and the suffering will not last forever.

Your years of slavery have an end date.

Child of God, God may not have seen fruit trees spring up, but when He declared let there be trees, He believed it.

He was sowing seeds for the design and beauty we now see today.

As long as the earth remains, seedtime...

Child of God, you have the same capacity to create the things you want to see only if you believe.

Note these things;

You are god. You're seated in heavenly places far above Principalities and Powers. That is your designation, God's Child. You are gods and children of the most-high God. Doesn't that make you happy? Whatever you say comes to pass. This is why you should be mindful of what you say. From the beginning of that challenge, what are you saying? Since 7 years old, I knew what I wanted and I have been saying it. I command the wealth of nations because the scriptures say they are mine. What have you discovered in the scriptures that belongs to you? Say it boldly without fear or doubt.

Depend on God's Word. This is our only anchor on earth. Anything far from the word of God is fake and brings death. The blessings of God will make you rich and will add no sorrow to it. God's word is God's channel of blessings. Every time you say something, always ask yourself, “Is this in line with God's Word? Quit declaring things that will work against you. There are words I can't say no matter how challenging the situation becomes. You can never hear words like “I’m frustrated, it's frustrating, it's not working” from my mouth.” As insignificant as some words might seem, they are powerful.

“ Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21”
