"Belonging"

"Belonging"

"I call it home and I want to feel that"

All people born and they have dreams, they want to be someone important in the future, they want the best life, a lot of money, fame, love, family and all their desires.

but in the end it depends on your destiny, where have you born!

Some people born in a good country in a good era, where they can manage to make their dreams come true, but some are born in the wrong time, wrong place.

Just think about someone born in Europe during WW2 and someone born today, the comparison is simple aye?

Now let's take a look at the world, but from a refugee point of view, they are normal people, they have dreams, passion, desires, they have families, guess what? this is the description of a normal person!

but if we look at them from the "non-refugee" point of view, they are non-educated, poor, violent people, they are coming to take out jobs and live in our houses!

Is that true? I think simple statistical research online would show the difference in the economy in both Germany and Turkey before and after refugees came, the success stories of refugees around the world, the narratives that amazing refugees had changed.

The word "Refugee" is not accepted by any person, at the end we are all humans, we have feelings, and we make decisions, and the world now is like sometimes some people take decisions affects the lives of millions and they can't change that! like calling them, refugees.

We hope that people would understand that we are not refugees, we are like them, they are like us, we are on this earth to develop it, improve life and live happy together.

The last thing is to let's think about the header "Belonging", one of the most amazing words to hear and to feel when you belong to a country, community, family, group and people share love, respect and .... you know the rest, I will let you think about this topic and hope one day life will be better.

“Refugees are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, with the same hopes and ambitions as us—except that a twist of fate has bound their lives to a global refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale.”

— Khaled Hosseini
