Brexit - I'm up for 'getting it done', with help from my global network - do you want to join me?

So it's finally here, did I vote for it? No. I was actually a remainer. But I am certainly not going to be a remoaner, as no matter what Brexit throws at us in the coming months and years, I for one will be working with others from across the globe to 'get it done', whatever getting it done means!

I am not just passionate about the construction and plant sectors I work in and their global nature. I am also a father, a husband and a person that genuinely believes that if we work together, collaborate, listen and do our best, good things will happen.

So I am certain that whatever Brexit throws at us, we will be able to catch it, hold it, work with it and together build a successful future. Yes there will be uncertain times, but having recently watched the epic 1917 World War one film, nothing compares to the sacrifice individuals, families and the UK as a whole made to fight for freedoms we enjoy today.

So on #BrexitDay, whether you voted to leave or remain, or didn't vote at all, this day has come, so chin up, raise your heads and prepare to be part of the global team that 'gets it done.'

Because guess what?

I like most people have friends that come from all different and diverse backgrounds, nationalities, genders, religions and hold their own views, which I respect. And I have been working with, socialising with and enjoying their company for the whole of my life and #BrexitDay or any other day won't change that.
