The Background:

We could not have done it without you.

You may not know that as a not-for-profit and as a grassroots movement, for the last two years, we have facilitated 180 advanced tech sessions (Testoper - YouTube ). We advance everyone to become the tech future workforce, imbibing a continuous learning mindset. This year, we are taking this to a new level as a home-grown in-peel region initiative with greater ambition.

That is, the launch of our first edition of DecodingTECH.Zone (DTZ), The Metaverse, and 5G Conference in Canada 2022  here in Brampton/Toronto City. The DTZ Conference will be held on October 28 2022, and we have confirmed a venue, schedule, and more. The program is budgeted to have a participant count to be around ~200, expecting to grow to 10,000+ in the next 3-5 years.

Why DecodingTECH.Zone?

We are entering into the fully connected immersive, decentralization, and open (open source, open banking, open networks, etc.) era that brings together physical, digital, and human worlds. Several technological advancements happening at light speed make it a reality, and the pandemic has accelerated it and is not reversible. As a result, we as a business are constantly challenged with future skills (talent) and innovation (differentiated offering) shortages that prevent the individual, company, and government from taking on the technology-enabled job growth and business opportunities.

Why Metaverse and 5G?

While Industry is working on what the Metaverse will be, it is widely discussed that Metaverse will be the future of the internet, solving multiple use cases;

—augmented by future 5G (ultimately 6G) high-bandwidth and low-latency networks.
