Tell us about your role at Optimus Search? How did your journey in this industry or company begin?

"I am Sasha, currently serving as the Head of People at Optimus Search. My journey in the industry began as a trainee HR recruitment consultant at a corporate recruitment business after leaving university. In March 2017, I transitioned to Optimus Search as an internal recruiter, witnessing and contributing to the company's growth."

What are some key milestones in your career that you are especially proud of?

"I take pride in completing my CIPD in 2020, showcasing my commitment to continuous learning. Additionally, I find immense joy in watching individuals I placed at Optimus Search evolve and thrive within the organisation."

What do you love most about your job?

"My role is not just a job; it's a passion. I love working with my team, witnessing their daily progress, and cherishing the supportiveness that defines the Optimus environment. The collaborative spirit at Optimus, from both an HR perspective and the overall working atmosphere, makes each day fulfilling."

What advice would you give to women aspiring to advance in their careers?

"For women aspiring to advance in their careers, I would advise advocating for your needs. Don't be afraid to communicate your aspirations and take initiative. This ethos has been a guiding principle in my journey, propelling my growth within Optimus Search."

"I'm Evie, and I started my career journey straight out of university, joining Optimus Search as a graduate. The recruitment field resonated with my skill set and personality, making it a perfect fit. I began as an Associate Consultant, and in just 1.5 years, I climbed the ranks to proudly hold the position of Senior Recruitment Consultant."

What are some key milestones in your career that you are especially proud of?

"Some key milestones, include my promotion to Senior Consultant; creating continuous repeat business with satisfied clients; and earning numerous 5-star reviews from candidates I've assisted in securing new positions."

What do you love most about your job?

"I thrive on building relationships with clients and candidates, enjoying the autonomy over my work and the control I have over my earning potential."

What advice would you give to women aspiring to advance in their careers?

"To women aspiring for career advancement, I emphasize the importance of asking questions, continuous learning, and aiming high. Fearlessly push for what you want and let your ambition drive your success."

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

"Outside of my professional life, I prioritize my well-being with frequent gym sessions to de-stress and maintain a healthy routine. I channel my adventurous spirit in the kitchen- constantly developing my cooking skills, and indulge my love for food by exploring new restaurants around London."

What are your future career goals and aspirations?

"I envision moving into a management position at Optimus Search and climbing the seniority levels within the company."

"I started my journey at Optimus Search as an Associate Recruitment Agent, bringing administrative expertise from a previous recruitment agency. Since then, I have ascended to the role of Senior Account Manager."

"I take immense pride in being the top performer in my division, setting a company record for placing freelancers across Germany. Winning the Delivery Consultant of 2023 award at Optimus stands as a significant milestone, with plans to surpass my placements from the previous year."

What do you love most about your job?

"What I cherish most about my role is assisting individuals in finding freelance projects aligned with their preferences. Upholding honesty and transparency, I ensure candidates secure roles that best suit them. I also appreciate the collaborative environment, building strong relationships within my team."

What advice would you give to women aspiring to advance in their careers?

"For women aspiring to advance in male-dominated fields, I advise maintaining confidence, continuous evolution, and authenticity. Embrace development as an ongoing process and leverage your unique perspective to contribute meaningfully to your career."

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

"Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is a priority for me. Quality time with family, traveling (not flying though, as I’m scared of flying), and enjoying different cuisines bring me joy outside of work."

"I look forward to contributing further to Optimus Search's success and pursuing my future career goals. My professional journey, achievements, and personal reflections are a testament to the opportunities and growth potential within the Optimus family."
