As part of the StoryTech team assembled by Lori H. Schwartz , our founder and CEO Tony Winders helps curate the best of the show for attendees who want to be ushered through its vast expanse.

Armed with whatever intel can be gleaned beforehand, they arrive a day early for a tech scavenger hunt of epic proportions, scouring the Venetian Expo and hundreds of startups in its lower level, known as Eureka Park, looking for exhibitors representative of this year's trends.

Here are just a few of the highlights of what made the cut, some of which are also pictured above. 

1) Amazon - A suite of lifestyle environments featured some of their 9 announcements at the show. We featured Labrador Systems ( Mike Dooley ) assistive robots. 

2) Prinker - A device for printing temporary personalized tattoos.   

3) Unistellar ( Ludovic Nachury ) - Smart telescopes tied to an app to guide you through the galaxy.

4) Squad Mobility ( Chris Klok ) - 45 mph solar car powered entirely from roof of the vehicle. 

5) GotThis - A mobile wellness app to reduce stress, depression and anxiety. 

6) AARP - Investing in tech startups for aging, including Last Game Board ( Tim Schukar ).

7) SpoonTek ( Ken Davidov )- Uses electromagnetic signals to modify how food tastes. 

8) Badger ( Michael Williston ) - Speech-to-text translation to display your words on a smart badge.

9) Meloscene ( Dawn E Robinson, MBA ) - Collaborate in VR with musicians anywhere in the world.

10) ACWA Robotics ( Robin Persiaux ) - Robotic device for inspecting municipal water systems.

11) LifeHub - Mobility imitating human legs to stand up and climb over objects.

12) Bird Buddy ( Kyle Buzzard ) - Smart bird feeders with cameras and an app to identify them.

13) Masonite - MPwr Smart Door w/ LED lights, Ring Doorbell and smart locks.

14) Kohler ( Stephen Maliszewski ) - Stillness Infinity Experience Bath and Sprig aromatherapy system. 

15) Yo-kai Express - Hot food vending machines for stadiums, malls and more.

16) Worx - One of several robotic lawnmowers seen on the show floor.

17) iLume - Like Fitbit for your dog, complete with a smart feeding bowl.

18) Bi-Ped ( Maël F. ) - Smart co-pilot for visually impaired using self-driving technology.

Well done! You forgot to mention though that Worx lawnmowers were not -just- one of the robot lawnmowers. They looked like props from Mad Max Fury Road that could probably mow a corn field.

This is the reason I need to stay an extra day. No matter how early we get in, there is no way to cover all of the convention spaces and see what each has to offer. Well done and thanks for the links.
