How do some Retail Media Networks rate?
As the epoch of the Retail Media Network continues, assessing which RMNs might support your brand's goals is both important and challenging. This week the Path to Purchase Institute published their latest research into RMNs digging into the challenges brands experience and rating them on key metrics like targeting effectiveness, ROI, data sharing and sales growth.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Amazon rated among the highest of RMNs but they did come in second to Kroger Precision Marketing.

Benchmark reporting seems to be a theme this week! Russ Dieringer from Stratably joined Kiri Masters on the podcast this week to discuss how brands are viewing Amazon Advertising in 2023. While Amazon's growth is expected to slow a bit in '23, the gap between their share of retail media spend and other RMNs is expected to increase.
Among participants in this study, 17% reported shrinking their spend in '23 while 10% reported increasing it.
