Coding Toys

Coding Toys

One of the skills of the future is to know how to code. You don’t have to be a developer and know every detail about the latest programming languages or frameworks, but you do have to know how technology works from this perspective.

There are many initiatives like Code.org with very famous faces, that encourage children to learn how to program; and a very broad training offer in this aspect with platforms like Udemy or Udacity. Focusing on the little ones, there is a huge number of toys that teach how to code. Some examples (shown in the video) are: Jewelbots, Sphero SPRK and Ozobot.

Another examples are: Primo, Kibo, Dash, Kano, Osmo Coding, Lego Boost and the awesome Google Bloks Project What do you think? Do you know other toys to learn how to program?
