Andy joined the Royal Marines at age seventeen. His challenging journey to redefine himself after losing a leg while patrolling in Afghanistan is a life lesson for all of us. After his discharge from the Royal Marines Andy embarked on many adventurous challenges such as climbing some of the world’s tallest mountains, learning to surf and ski and finally, running where he claimed the title of the world’s fastest single leg amputee with a 10km time of 37:17. Andy derives from his life experiences as a motivational speaker to help unlock the hidden potential in his audiences. He has authored a book called “You’ll Never Walk” which delivers his life’s message that anything is possible. Andy also serves as an ambassador for charities such as Help for Heroes and School of Hard Knocks and has been awarded the Outstanding Achievement prize at the Pride of Liverpool Awards. continue reading...
