The three premier health tech and bio science accelerator programs run by Design Technologies (that's ELabNYC, ABCT, and WCBA) just held two virtual pitch days. While the pandemic precluded a live gathering like we've done in previous years (which was certainly disappointing on many levels), the good news is that you can check out from the comfort of your own home the amazing work that a total of 36 ventures across the 3 programs have done.

Just click here for the full roster of startups organized by category (Med Device, Diagnostics, Digital Health, Bioinformatics, and Therapeutics). There's a ton of interesting stuff to take in, and for the right angel or early stage institutional investors, some great opportunities. Rather than sitting through the entire Day one and Day Two videos, I recommend scrolling down the page, learning about the different ventures, and choosing to watch the presentations that are most interesting to you. Not only can you view venture profiles and the pithy 6-minute pitches they gave, you can easily schedule meetings with any ventures of interest via Calendly links we set up for this purpose.

While I believe that every single venture who participated in these programs has something of value to offer, I want to give a special shout out to the teams I coached this year. At ELabNYC, I worked with Rom Cohen of Hyro, best-in-class conversational AI in support of successful patient journeys, and Dr. Ami Shah and Dominic Ambrosio of Face2Face Health, an integrative pediatric care platform for parents. At ABCT, my teams included Chad Bouton and his groundbreaking work at Neuvotion, helping to restore movement for paralyzed patients, Mrinal Kumar and team at OnTrack Rehabilitation, who have set out to dramatically improve concussion recovery, and last, but not least, Elizabeth Kusack and her sister Laura Kusack of RBK Biosciences, who are seeking a solution to the scourge of cachexia in cancer patients.

Finally, I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mary Howard, Tom Gerson, and the entire team at Design Technologies for the inspiration and support they provided to me and all of the other coaches during this exciting and intense program. I love working with talented entrepreneurs to help realize world-changing ideas and build sustainable businesses. In spite of the unforeseen and serious challenges that 2020 brought, this year's ELabNYC, ABCT, and WCBA cohorts rose to the occasion. Kudos and best of luck with the road ahead!
