With an impressive 15+ years of experience in the tech industry, Himabindu Srirangam is a seasoned professional with an intense passion for her craft. However, working in various roles across different tech companies, she often found that stereotypes and inadequate support hindered her career progression despite her enthusiasm to learn. “One of the major challenges I faced was the pervasive notion that women were not as adept in core technologies,” she says, recalling experiences from her career so far. “Be it a big or small company, there were limited opportunities for professional development and insufficient mentorship.”

For years, Himabindu encountered these hurdles but ultimately was determined not to let those barriers hold her back. Her efforts to succeed continued, yet she longed for an environment where her talents would be recognized and her potential maximized.

Being with the company for over 6 years, Himabindu has achieved several significant personal and professional milestones. A notable example among many was leading the development and delivery of major projects in .NET & Data Analytics that streamlined one of our client’s operations, for which Himabindu received widespread recognition. “This achievement not only boosted my confidence but also solidified my career growth within the company,” she says. On a personal note, Himabindu shares that she has grown more confident in her abilities and is proud to mentor other team members now, helping them navigate their career paths.
