CRAZY CREATIVES ANNOUNCES THEIR 5TH BOOTCAMP
Creativity can be polished, not taught; film craft can be learned. This 5+ weeks hands on boot camp is designed for new filmmakers and passionate enthusiasts who wish to take their passion through hands on development, production and post to achieve a completed short film.
This Saturday boot camp will show you how to take an idea and develop it into a complete short film. Each participant will be encouraged to take part in and learn multiple roles in the making of a short film; through this boot camp you will find your own feet in what you love best, and leave with knowledge and experience in all stages of filmmaking.
Digital media makes it possible to shoot, edit and share a film within a few minutes and costs have reduced considerably, so the only excuse NOT to make a short film is lack of imagination. There however remains a gap between shooting a film and telling a story. From idea to realization, the process of filmmaking remains one of creativity. Lack of experience, lack of knowledge and lack of confidence can prevent you from taking the plunge to making a good short film.
Some people excel in writing, some in photography, some can weave magic with their direction and some can take an insipid film and edit it into a masterpiece. Sound, Art Design, Music, Costumes, Acting, Production Design, all come together to create the perfect film. That is why filmmaking is called a collaborative art form.
The final project will have the individual stamp of each of its creators, and become a film for your show reel, an IMDB credit and the confidence to go out and make a film on your own.
Join the boot camp and enjoy the roller coaster ride of intense, hands on filmmaking.
