Customer Service is a business strategy!

Customer Service is a business strategy.

  • And a marketing strategy.
  • And a revenue generator.
  • And a social media content creator.
  • And should be the reason we do business with people!
  • And is too often overlooked.

Occasionally, we’ll see a viral story about extreme customer service.

Recognizing things going right is often easy to miss. We usually expect something less than awesome.

It’s Friday, so I want to take a minute to appreciate people who took an extra step, did it right the first time, and truly care about what they do.

Ted’s TGR’s of the week? (Things Gone Right, and credit to @Tom_ Peters for the great acronym)

Shout outs:

  • Martine @ The Accessory Store, Stamford CT, for happily making things easy.
  • Tahsa @Laz-Parking for follow through excellence.
  • Jonathan @ Peter Chang’s, for his personality.
  • Amanda @Citarella-Inc in Greenwich, for knowing her stuff!
  • Addie and Jeanie @ Bridges in Norwalk, for truly caring.

Regardless of the industry or value of transaction, customer service matters. Your organization has invested in the right people. Your personal commitment is recognized and to be commended!
