On this day... in 1789, French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille (Sacre bleu!) which is celebrated today (Bastille Day). In 1968, Hank Aaron hit his 500th home run. And it is both National French Fry Day and National Mac & Cheese Day (I think I know what I'm having for lunch now).
