Acknowledging different approaches within our industry, we are taking this opportunity to demystify the way we work, perhaps debunk a few myths and suggest some ideas to help you get the best from working with a recruitment partner.

§ Who is our customer? We are engaged by the hiring organisation, who therefore becomes the customer. But without great candidates, there can be no successful appointment and no project outcomes. So each candidate is also a customer and each customer group is equally important.

§ Advertised roles are genuine opportunities; sometimes situations change quickly, in which case, we will update you, respecting confidentiality and circumstances.

§ Sometimes roles are represented in the market by than one recruitment partner. We understand the confusion and frustration caused by this. If we are aware of others representing the same role, we will discuss this with you.

§ Contemporary, 21st century consulting and partnering delivers greater transparency and insight than earlier transactional methodology. Our focus is sustainable careers for individuals and talent solutions for organisations.

§ One person only can be appointed to each vacant position. We often challenge the spec, but we are evaluating and differentiating based on the needs of the business. If you are disappointed, it does not necessarily mean there was anything wrong with your application, simply that others aligned more closely with requirements.

§ While retained projects have a priority focus, we are alert to future opportunities to showcase your talent, helping smart businesses create talent pipelines.

What can you expect?

§ You should expect an acknowledgement or response (automation through technology allows this)

§ The evaluation process can take time, but you can expect to be notified of an outcome. 

§ Individual feedback to every applicant is not feasible. The further you progress, the more detailed feedback you can expect
