With the UAE emerging as a potential study destination for Indian students, understanding their perceptions and preferences is crucial. Our survey of over 7500 Indian students reveals key insights into their considerations, concerns, and preferred fields of study. By analyzing these findings, we aim to equip both educational institutions in the UAE and aspiring international students with valuable information.

Key Findings:

  • Quality of Education: 49.94% of students consider quality of education as the primary factor for studying in the UAE.
  • Cost and Cultural Concerns: 48.34% of students cite the high cost of living and tuition fees as major concerns, while 29.10% are worried about cultural and language differences.
  • Popular Fields of Study: Business and Management are the most sought-after programs, with 45.37% of students showing interest, followed by Engineering and Technology.
  • Awareness and Information: Email updates (44.06%) and webinars are preferred channels for information gathering.

For institutions, these insights can help tailor outreach strategies and highlight strengths like quality education. For students, the report reveals the popularity of specific fields and the positive overall impression of the UAE as a study destination. Investing in Tomorrow: Indian Parents' Take on UAE's Academic Landscape

In an increasingly globalised world, parents play a crucial role in shaping their children's educational journey, including decisions about studying abroad. Our survey of over 1000 Indian parents provides valuable insights into their perceptions, preferences, and concerns regarding the UAE as a study destination for their children.

Key Findings:

  • Quality of Education: 60.66% of parents cite quality of education as the most important factor influencing their decision.
  • Cost Concerns: Cost of living and tuition fees are major concerns, especially for parents in Tier 1 cities (39.62%).
  • Awareness of Indian Universities: Only 41.46% of parents are aware of Indian universities operating in the UAE.
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business and Management are the most supported fields of study (58.72%), while Engineering and Technology are favoured in Tier 2 cities.
