Do not allow Save the Children practice abusive protocol rules to their sponsors

In Attention to Protection of the Child Services :

Please do not allow Save the Children practice abusive protocol rules to the sponsors of their kids by not letting them communicate with them through all means; they need to preserve the right of the child first and not the desires and interests of the people who are engaged in his care. All means of communication mean : e mail, phone and in person through regular visits; They should not use our money and exploit us financially unless they respect our desire and need to bond with the child. Plus the previous sponsors of their sponsored kids to be allowed to continue to send them gifts

I had two girls with Save the Children , as a sponsor , for almost one year and at the beginning i was not allowed to email them ; i could not talk on the phone either

In an access of frustration , i said i want to cancel; after few days , less than a week I regretted-when I called them back they said they gave the kids to someone else ; i said i wanted to send them gifts for Christmas that was approaching - they agreed neutrally but I have not received a confirmation from my both sponsored girls that they have received their gifts that were two coloring thick anatomy books

I consider these practices being abusive to me as a sponsor and to the child as well - if I would be a child I would be very disappointed to know my sponsor has give up on me

I tried to contact the Protection of the Child in Kentucky where one of my girls was located , talked on the phone with them with no official positive response

It also applies to World Vision as well- I still have a child with World Vision in Romania - I can barely communicate by e mail and I have sent a gift for Christmas and have not received a Thank You nor a confirmation that that gift arrived to the child
