Does hybrid working damage women's careers?
I don’t think hybrid working negatively impacts women’s ability to advance in their careers.
The impact may vary depending on the range of factors, including the specific context, industry, and individual circumstances. It all depends on how a hybrid working culture is implemented and the broader societal and organizational factors that can come into play.
In our company, we value Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion which defines our company's culture. Having 70% women workforce in our company, we are blessed to have such talents in our team. We make sure they are comfortable working and don’t face any problems and in return, we have received positive feedback from them.
They feel psychologically safe, and their mental health is also improved. The time that was being used to commute from one place to another is being spent on themselves i.e. Me Time.
Hybrid work culture implementation has led them free from toxic air pollutants, the toxic atmosphere in the office, politics, and awkward moments in offices, that women go through.
With all good things, women perform better and grow better in their careers, as individuals, women, a mother, daughters, wives, and many positions that they take responsibility for.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think hybrid working damages women's careers?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts,
