Domino UK receives ISP's Investor in Sales award

Domino UK, the British-based developer of high-tech industrial and commercial printing, have just been presented with our prestigious Investor in Sales award for their commitment to customer service, ethical selling and professional development.

Domino’s sales team, recognised by this award, work across the company’s UK and Middle East channels.

The award is conferred by ISP when at least 75 per cent of a sales team passes our exam which tests selling skills, knowledge, professional ethics and decision-making.

We are pleased to say that nearly all the UK-based sales team at Domino have passed, and the rest will be sitting the test soon to make sure the whole team is represented by the award.

To pass the exam, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 85 per cent. Salespeople need to retake the test every two years to ensure their skills and knowledge remain current, which allows them to stay on ISP’s professional register of competent, ethical salespeople.

James Shippen, sales enablement director at Domino, says: “Trust is probably the greatest differentiating factor in business-to-business selling, so having sellers endorsed by ISP is really important for our business and our reputation.

“Having a sales team that walk the walk and talk the talk, with qualifications and standards backed by an independent accreditation in ethics, shows our customers and prospects that we are professional and trustworthy and will work with them to build profitable, long-term business relationships.

“We are delighted to gain this important award.  Domino have been involved with ISP from their very early days and remain committed to them – a professional body which puts the customer first by focusing on collaborative, ethical selling and supports the professional development of hard-working salespeople.

“As Domino puts a stronger emphasis on account management, it is vital that we are trusted advisers, not just vendors.”

Patrick Joiner, managing director of ISP says: “Many congratulations to the sales team at Domino, and thank you to James for his leadership which has instilled the importance of ethical selling and professional development.

“Professional, qualified salespeople who are valued and supported pay dividends for their organisations and are an asset across every business.”
