As you know, we are in the digital age of social media, virtual reality, crypto-currency, artificial intelligence, robotics and massive breakthroughs in technology. Although we have been focused on PPE during the 2020, I had to share this platform with my readers.

Have you ever had the thought if I only knew when... Just Imagine being able to travel back to 2010 and buy Bitcoin 10 cents in 2010. What if you had the opportunity be a part owner in Fortnite "which by the way makes aprox one million dollars per minute profit".

I had the LUCK (Laboring, Under, Correct, Knowledge) and was fortunate to get involved in Bitcoin and Crypto currency back at end of 2015 under our brand Bitdragon. Bitcoin was aprox $280 per coin and Ethereum was only $5.00 per coin however, I was never afforded an opportunity to be part owner in the Fortnite metaverse.

Hindsight is always 2020, I wish I had not squandered my Bitcoins that I accumulated or purchased back then. No one really knew what the future would be for cyrpto-currency at that time. Fast forward to today Jan 4th 2021 Bitcoin has reached almost $35,000 per coin and Ethereum $1000 per coin.

UPDATE 2/15/2021 - Over the last 30 days we have also seen Mega Cities being developed where large groups of participants come together in a community to enrich everyone. One of the largest Cities is located on the Coast of Liberia. Its structured with roads, ports towns and even (Dubia 2.0 was re-created as seen below) while many wait for Dubia to open for sale which should be announced soon.

One of the more prolific investors on E2 is E2THEBOSS just sold his Mega City to PREDICT which is now named OMEGA CITY. That one sale turned 55k into 116k doubled his real life investment. E2THEBOSS was the creator of Liberia Mega City. It is by far the largest and most progressive city in E2. Since the creation of the Mega City there are now more than 10 Major Cities that have been created.

To put the this into perspective as to the magnitude of this one Mega City, look at the Coast line of Liberia below.

The future of Earth2 is very exciting. From my personal experience the concept is lucrative, exciting and most of all scalable. I have been doing due diligence for about 1 week. We invested in the platform to test it out. As of today we are profitable.

UPDATE: 1/13/2020 - I am happy to report that the servers have been upgraded and the site is functioning very well. New features have been added to the market place allowing you to filter and search for properties much easier. Along with income tax you earn for the land you own and bid feature is back up and running.

The CLASS 1 tiles around the world are almost all ought up. Its seems that on average the prices are going up aprox 20-25% per week on most land.

Tip if possible try to buy blocks of land not scattered all over the place. This will be more valuable when you go to sell.

Scalability issue during the early days.

This is a extremely ambitious undertaking with many moving parts in order to scale with the demand. My advice is to have patience while the dev team roll's out Phase I. During this phase you basically have the ability to acquire land in countries all around the world which can be bought, sold and traded. Soon you will be able to merge, subdivide and even lease space. 

Disclaimer

At the time of this article was written the increase demand to utilize the platform and on board new users was way more than the Dev team at Earth2 have ever expected. The project launched Nov 3rd 2020 and they thought they would have at least 6 months in beta to test all aspects of the platform. With in only 2 months they have pegged their servers to capacity and are undergoing major updates and upgrades to handle the demand on payment processing, buying land etc. You can check the if the servers are online at anytime

Phase 1 - Claim Land

This phase involves the ability to claim, buy, trade, bid, analyze land trade prices and more. You can read more about Phase 1 here and more about some of the features on the web app supporting Phase 1 here.

Phase 2 - Resources

Resources will be released in the first half of 2021 at the earliest possible point. It will involve the ability for Virtual Land to begin generating different types of resources that will be vital for building and economic purposes in Earth 2. These resources will be tradable between users for other resources or credits. In the future users requiring resources to build or for other purposes will need to generate or gather resources or buy them with credits from users who have stock. We will also be releasing details about general uses for the varying resources. More to come!

Phase 3 - Terrain

In Phase 3, users will be given first access to the Earth 2 terrain system! More to come. The Terrian video was just a sneak peak at the game engine that they are using to develop the largest video game ever created on panet earth.

One thing is for sure the future is so bright you'll need to wear Shades , I mean VR Glasses..LOL

As you know we live in a digital world and with the low cost market entry for Virtual Reality, Augmented Realty and mixed reality you can visit places you have never been from the convivence of your own home. You can become Luke Skywalker and fight with light sabers in your living room with the realism of a movie.

SO WHY SHOULD I BUY VIRTUAL LAND?

This answer is from the Earth2 FAQ . There will be numerous purposes to buy land, too many to list, but to give you part of a very large list;

• Your land will: be able to generate resources (based on the Biome / Terraforming),
• You will be able to build on that land and it will be viewable and accessible from real world locations as well as in game locations.
• We are also planning for the ability to fight for control of land (control, not ownership, the ownership does not change unless the user sells their land. Also this last mention is not confirmed yet).

To start with there will be 5 ways you can earn money on your virtual Land.

#1 Increase value of your land based on supply and demand, all land started out at 10 cents, to put this in perspective they launched the beta version of the world beginning of Nov 2020 as of today Feburay15th 2021 you can buy a tile of land in US for $47.00, there still is countries around the world that you can buy land for 20 cents but they won't last long.

This is not financial advice, I bought my first Earth2 tile on Jan 1st 2020 and to date I own 92 Properties and 18,408 Titles. I have provided screenshot of profile Jan 4th 2021 and Feb 15th 2021.

Note, value of your land can fluxuate up and down due supply and demand of land and also sale price in the secondary market place.

Prices of land increase based on trading prices and other algorithms. New Land Price (or as they call it the System Price or Core Price). As more land is bought in a country, the demand for land increases and the Core Price for New Land fluctuates accordingly. The price is a lot more stable than the Market Value Price (the price of land traded between users).

JANUARY 4TH 2021

Earth2 will be displaying the price on a new chart they are building, part of an upcoming feature expected to be ready in the next few weeks. For now you can see the price by selecting any new land in each relevant country.

#2 Land Income Tax is income you receive on the land you own based on future new sales of land in that country. You do not need to do anything special to receive this income, it is automatically credited to your account each time new sales occur in the country of which you own the land. The more land you own the more income tax your land will receive on future purchases. ( This feature will be changed to credit Essence and resources)

TIP: You can receive higher brackets of Land Income Tax on your land by buying land earlier and getting a better class of land. There are only a limited number of Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 tiles available per country.

#3 Referral System 5% Bonus For a limited time there will be a promotional referral system which is beneficial for the provider and the purchaser. Every user will have their own unique referral code which can be found on the Settings page after logging in to your account.

When purchasing land users will be able to APPLY a referral code. This referral code will give the purchaser 5% credit back on their purchase and 5% credit to the owner of the referral code. The referral code will remain active automatically on all future purchases unless the purchaser changes it again.

#4 Resources Gathered When users find loot, treasure or resources on land that you own you will automatically be given a portion of the ownership depending on what type of land class you own.

#5 Advertisement Income When advertisements are delivered on land that you own, you will be given a portion of the revenue generated from those advertisements depending on that class of land you own.

TIP: Income avenues 4, 5 and 6 make it important to try and own land in key, popular areas around our physical world as they will likely have a higher chance of traffic and ultimately give a higher return to the land owner.

Earth 2 Terrain

The Earth2 terrain engine is able to render the entire Earth with extreme terrain and vegetation details not seen before in any game, where movement is without loading and popping artifacts. This all with high performance and the ability to down-scale to lower hardware.

Earth 2 Web App

Earth 2’s web platform provides its users the possibility of buying, selling and/or bidding on virtual land. The available land is represented by a mercator projection of a world map sliced up in a virtual grid of approximately 10x10 meters which spans the entire planet. Some core technologies provided via our web application are listed below:

• Segmented digital layer of land consisting of over 5.1 trillion uniquely identified virtual land tiles spanning the entire surface of Earth that are optimized to render with multiple layers of associated data and are delivered to the user with extremely high efficiency (capped at 50 billion circulation for Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 land)

• Performant rendering of country flag over map tiles returning current controlled status
• Property Deed details view confirming Land Class, Land Title, Deed Identifier, Controlled Status, Purchase Price, Market Value, Sale Status, list of exact unique Tile IDs including longitude and latitude plus addresses for each tile within related property
• User Profile Portfolio presenting total number of properties owned, total number of tiles owned, Net worth, Property Value Increase / Decrease, List of Properties with Imagery and summarized detail per property
