Apply to Become a Local Organiser for the CASSINI Hackathons

The CASSINI Hackathons, part of the European Commission’s initiative to support space entrepreneurship, are now inviting EU|BICs to apply as local organisers for the upcoming editions. 

These hackathons will focus on "Space for Healthcare" from 9-11 May 2025 and "Space for Consumer Experiences" from 7-9 November 2025. As a local organiser, you will receive €24,000 plus additional benefits in kind to host the event in your city, region, or country. Applications are open until 20 January 2025 at 23:59 CET.

Lebanon Connect: Online Matchmaking in March 2025

This March, Lebanon Connect will host its first online matchmaking event on the B2Match platform, bringing together innovators, researchers and EU stakeholders in key sectors such as ICT, healthcare and agri-tech. 

The event will offer a unique opportunity to connect with experts, build partnerships, and present your work. It will feature interactive workshops, project pitches, and dedicated networking sessions to foster collaboration and innovation.

Laval Virtual 2025: Explore the Future of Immersive Technologies

From 9 to 11 April 2025, Espace Mayenne in Laval, France, will host Laval Virtual, a leading event for virtual and augmented reality. Highlights include interactive exhibitions, scientific talks, and the Recto VRso Festival, celebrates immersive art.

Startups, researchers, and students can enter competitions to win exhibitor space and gain recognition. Applications close on 17 January 2025, with entries for the Laval Virtual Awards closing on 24 January 2025.

Call for Hosts in Europe – Cluster Connect!

The deadline to host international clusters has been extended to 15 January 2025! Selected hosts will receive €16,000 per mission, covering expert guidance, travel, accommodation, and networking opportunities.

Clusters from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, and Palestine are seeking hosts in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Spain. This is a unique chance to support global collaboration across industries like agri-food, ICT, energy, and aerospace.
