A recent survey by Women in Football has revealed that 89% of women have experienced discrimination at work, despite 85% and 91% of male respondents believing opportunities for women in the football industry will improve.


Over half of elite women footballers around the world are earning less than $5,000 (£3,940) a year from playing, with over a quarter having a secondary job, according to a report by Fifpro, Fifa and Australia’s Edith Cowen University.
