MSCI at Google Cloud Next ‘24
As we continue our AI journey, we are collaborating with Google Cloud on innovative solutions to help our clients better manage portfolio risks and opportunities, make informed investment decisions and work to decarbonize their portfolios and manage the financial risk of climate change.
With that in mind, we are thrilled to take the stage at the upcoming Google Cloud Next ’24 conference in Las Vegas, April 9-11. Our session ‘Pinpointing climate risk for sustainable finance in the era of AI‘ will be presented by Jeff Sternberg , Technical Director, Sustainability, Google Cloud along with Pooja Malpani and Naman Bairagi from the MSCI ESG and Climate Engineering team.

Our session highlights the impact of climate hazards and physical risks on clients’ portfolios. Leveraging Google Cloud’s unique AI capabilities, the MSCI GeoSpatial data helps clients gain insight into ~1 million asset locations to better manage climate-related risks. Our participation at Google Cloud Next reinforces our strong relationship with them as we build cutting-edge solutions. This event follows on the heels of our Global Climate AI Summit & Hackathon where MSCI and the Google Cloud team worked to prototype and demonstrate 15 climate AI use cases, with seven shortlisted for further development by MSCI in 2024.
