The Employment Law Landscape: 2021

The Covid-19 Pandemic has upended our culture in a way that few of us could have imagined. Even the word 'normal' is the subject of heated debate in discussions from local coffee shops to the boardrooms of major companies. A particularly hard-hit component of our culture is labor and employment in which new battles rage about what should constitute the "new normal" - at least until the global health risks have become substantially minimized.

Since the onset of the pandemic, government and health organizations have been grappling with how to adjust labor and employment laws to deal with this major intrusion to public health. Law firms have had to cope with an ever-shifting cascade of new laws, regulations and guidelines in order to address the concerns of the general public.

To help gain access to the new legal landscape, Bell & Shivas, P. C. has begun aggregating links to the most informative web sites dealing with Covid-19's effect on labor and employment law. We will be posting regular updates here and on our various social media sites. Please call (973) 442-7900 if we can be of service to you.
