End of an Era with the Paul Merage School of Business

My time at the Paul Merage School of Business has officially come to an end. I cannot express the upmost gratitude I have for everyone who worked with me over the years and helped me reach my full potential. From coming into UC Irvine as a freshman I had no idea what I wanted to do or path I should take Thomas Parham, former UCI Vice Chancellor, met with me regularly to ensure I had set goals for each second of every day; Kenneth Oden mentored me and was always a shoulder I could lean on in times of hardship; Sofia Dang and Taylor Martini saw a spark in me and flourished it which allowed me to find an inner drive I never knew existed; Jason Tompkins and Jon Masciana gave me a chance to really dive into my job and make it my own; Maria Cuevas and Eric Duarte-McDermott we’re and always will be my biggest support system throughout every single thing I ever did they were always there.

Over the past year as a program advisor I developed a podcast for our FEMBA student population to inform them of all that is happening at the school of business. This podcast opened up an entirely new creative avenue I never thought I had, and I had a wonderful team to back me up as I did it monthly. For the most recent July episode my boss, Jason Tompkins, had a Q&A with me; I would be lying if I said it didn’t move me and make me feel that I am destined for greatness and have had wonderful people backing me up. Please take a listen! (Wait for the end there is a wonderful little tid bit)

I have learned so much over the past two years and I’m excited to take it to a completely new avenue with Cred. (A fantastic company with whom I fell in love with in February) as one of their new coordinators. Thank you UCI for helping me grow and develop and thank you Cred for seeing my potential and giving me a chance!
