Enhancing Spillway Structural Integrity with EagleLIFT's Scan and Repair Approach

With 2023 having some of the highest recorded rainfall in recent years, it’s important to to draw attention to the condition of California's spillways and flood control structures and to prepare for the upcoming rainy season, which may be just as active. However, there is no need to be overwhelmed by the task at hand, as a viable solution is within reach.

EagleLIFT presents an effective Scan and Repair methodology that offers a pragmatic way to identify and swiftly address void issues in a cost-efficient manner. Our primary focus is pinpointing the problem areas. To achieve this, we employ a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system, enabling a comprehensive scan of the entire spillway. This advanced technology allows us to identify any potential voids. Should voids be detected, our response involves promptly filling them and stabilizing the structure using our polymer injection process.

Our repair expertise lies in restoring soil weight-bearing capacity, utilizing our deep stratum stabilization. Through this technique, a high-density structural polyurethane is strategically injected into problematic zones. The injection pattern is meticulously designed to not only fill voids but also enhance soil density, thereby repairing it for its intended purpose.

Beyond void detection and soil restoration, it is important to highlight that EagleLIFT holds a class "A" General Contractor classification. Thus, should additional engineering or alternative repair approaches be deemed necessary, we can readily involve our contracting expertise to execute the rehabilitation. Our robust bonding capacity, exceptional safety track record, and extensive experience in public works applications further solidify our commitment to delivering outstanding results.

As we anticipate the upcoming rainy season, it's prudent to ensure that our infrastructure is prepared to withstand the challenges that might arise. EagleLIFT's Scan and Repair process provides a comprehensive solution to enhance the structural health of spillways and flood control structures.

Please feel free to reach out to us for more information or to discuss how we can collaborate to reinforce California's critical infrastructure. We look forward to the opportunity to assist.
