A new version of ePCT has been rolled out with an updated user interface. The following links contain a summary of all the new features for applicants and IP Offices.
TWO MAJOR CHANGES:
1. eHandshake has been renamed to connection and simultaneous requests are now available.
2. There is a back-up filing system for when the system is down. The new ePCT Business Community Service can be accessed at https://pctcs.wipo.int and additional information about it can be found HERE
TRAINING
There are two sessions available for training on the new system next week, which will go over the new features and improvements. If you are unable to attend the live presentation, a recording will be available afterward at the PCT Webinars webpage. Additionally, the PowerPoint presentation is available now and is located HERE.
1. The first session is for those in Australia, Asia, and Europe time zones: Tuesday 10 October 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am (CET - Geneva Time)
2. The second session is on Thursday, October 12, 2023, for North and South America time zones: Thursday 12 October 2023 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm (CET - Geneva Time). NOTE: This is CET time zone and not Central time zone.
