Ernesto Fonseca Promoted to North America Regional Sales Director for Piovan Brands

Fredericksburg, Virginia, June 04, 2024 – Piovan is excited to announce a significant organizational change within our North American division. Effective May 6, 2024, Ernesto Fonseca has been promoted to the role of North America Regional Sales Director for Piovan brands. In this new role, Ernesto will lead sales initiatives for Piovan and Piovan UnaDyn products across North America, including Piovan Mexico, Piovan Canada, and UnaDyn locations. He will report directly to Angelo Suar, President of Piovan UnaDyn and Piovan Canada.

Angelo Suar will now oversee all three companies, while Ernesto will continue as General Manager of Piovan Mexico. Ernesto’s journey with Piovan began in 2011 when he joined Piovan Mexico as Sales Manager, quickly advancing to General Manager the following year. His previous experience includes various roles in the PET Division of Eastman Chemical Company and DAK Americas (Alpek) since 1995, where he gained valuable insights into auxiliary equipment for the PET industry in the LATAM region.

Ernesto holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from ITESM (Monterrey) and a master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird (The American School for International Management, AZ).
