Experience "hits" home (and a roadside comm box)
In my travels last week, there was a vehicle traveling opposite me in heavy traffic. Too late the driver looked up from whatever he was doing and spotted a car immediately in front of him. Reacting fast to avoid a rear-end collision, she veered right off-road, turning a green working communications hub into dusty scrap. Considering the time of day, it could have been a pedestrian, another car or a more dangerous object.
The Georgia DOT is observing an alarming rate of fixed-object collisions this year. Fatalities are up and distracted driving is suspected.
DRIVE ALERT. ARRIVE ALIVE.
