Fall'22 Internship with View Inc.

View Inc., a pioneer in architectural innovation, is the first business to effectively develop the widespread commercialization of dynamic glass. View creates View Dynamic Glass, a new generation of architectural glass that intelligently transitions through multiple tint states to control the sun's energy, providing an enhanced occupant experience and the best possible natural light and thermal comfort. View is located at the intersection of human wellness, smart technology, and energy efficiency.

During my 11 weeks at View, I significantly worked on handling the data of different components which are received by the manufacturers. The data was transferred to an AWS account, and I oversaw managing and setting up the infrastructure of the data transfer, cleaning, and warehousing before if could be used for inspection and analysis. Having worked with different departments in the organization certainly helped me in understanding the root cause of issues, time management and mainly learnt from experts of the industry on how to react and improve in situations of turmoil.

This Fall’22 internship has helped me learn and improve my technical and interpersonal skills greatly. Having studied courses like Database Fundamentals and Applied Machine Learning has strengthened my basics of the necessary technologies due to which my internship experience was enhanced. Since I was working remotely, it was challenge initially to work in unison with the team but as time passed, things got better, and I was able to balance out academic and internship work effectively but only thing I missed were the events in the office!

My work experience was nothing short of taking responsibility and application of my skills and I cannot thank View Inc. and my team there enough for giving me this opportunity to contribute and better myself constantly.
