FeldCare: A Family Business
Did you know that FeldCare Direct and FeldCare Connects are family-owned and operated?
We are!
The Peled family started FeldCare Connects over a decade ago and recently expanded to include outpatient in-home through FeldCare Direct.
In a recent interview, FeldCare’s CEO, Randi Peled, shared how she got into this industry:
“My inclination towards aiding the elderly population stems from a genuine affinity I have always held for older individuals. Growing up, I cherished my relationship with my grandparents and assumed caregiving responsibilities for my grandfather from an early age.
“Subsequently, as my mother faced numerous health challenges, I identified shortcomings in the care provided. This realization fueled my dedication to enhancing care standards. As I honed my skills and deepened my interests, I ventured into occupational health within the broader community, eventually leading me to the field of home health.”
From a young age, Randi has felt a pull to honor and help the geriatric community, and this is why she chose to build a company that supports the home health industry. She and her husband, Sam, built FeldCare with their children who now work within the business. From there, they expanded their company to include many wonderful and passionate people who share the same vision as the Peled family.

Why “FeldCare?”
Randi and Sam chose to name her company “FeldCare” to honor the Peled family history. “Feld” in the name “FeldCare” pays homage to the Peled’s family history. Sam’s father, Shlomo Feld, emigrated from Poland to Israel during the Holocaust. He overcame many acute hardships during his journey from Nazi-occupied Poland, but he escaped with his life. Many others faced worse fates. During World War II, throngs of refugees emigrated to Israel, and the officials who were processing papers had to do so extremely quickly, often making mistakes. Thus, Shlomo Feld became Shlomo Peled.
The name FeldCare was chosen to honor the history of those whose sacrifices allowed our family to be here today. Quite appropriately, “Feld” is a Yiddish word that means “field,” and since clinicians are seeing patients “in the field” so to speak, it was the right choice.
FeldCare helps by connecting the most passionate and experienced clinicians with doctors, discharge planners, home health agencies, and others. Every day, we collectively work together to ensure that our referral sources are pleased with our services and continue to refer to us.
As Randi said in her interview: “Improving rehab accessibility produces phenomenal outcomes for patients across the board.”
And that is just what FeldCare does!
