Buy and activate an eSIM at 30,000 feet
Airline customers on iOS and Android can now purchase and activate travel eSIMs in the air—without paying for in-flight WiFi—only with Gigs.
Gigs partnered with one of the world's largest airline carriers to develop the best eSIM activation experience on the market.
By whitelisting essential URLs in collaboration with the airline, Gigs lets travelers buy an eSIM without the added friction of paying for WiFi.
The new flow also allows for eSIM activation in airplane mode, meaning travelers can get online the instant they touch down, check in with loved ones, and plan the next stage of their trip.
With this update, airlines can cross-sell a must-have product precisely when their customers need it most, maximising conversions and adding real value for travelers.
