Businesses will need to put talent development and future workforce strategy front and centre to their growth.
This is one of the main conclusions in The Future of Jobs Report published earlier this year.
Different business models will be impacted at different stages towards 2020.
According to the report we are looking at more than 5,1 million jobs lost (net), due to disruptive labour market changes over the period 2015-2020.
The main areas we will se jobs disappearing is within Office and Administrative roles. We will also experience a further bottoming in the Manufacture and production related fields.
On the positive side we will see a growth within Computer, Mathematical, Architecture and Engineering related fields.
According to the Future of Jobs Report there are four areas with short term implications and three that are critical for long term resilience.

- Reinventing the HR Function
- Making Use of Data Analytics
