Today, we’re thrilled to cast a spotlight on none other than Stefan Rustler, our visionary CEO steering the ship. With over two decades of experience in the electronics industry, he has established a commendable track record, showcasing expertise and accomplishments within multi-national corporations. How long have you been working with ENNOVI, and what inspired you to join the company?

Having lived and worked on 3 continents, I have honed my skills as a global leader adept at managing multicultural organizations and championing diversity. I joined this team just over a year ago, motivated by a compelling vision to establish the first interconnect company fully focused on the fast-growing e-mobility market. I have been inspired by our highly skilled and enthusiastic ENNOVI team dedicated to help our customers to electrify faster. I am convinced this team will make a positive difference in the industry.

 

How do you foster a collaborative environment within your team, and how do you keep it motivated daily?

I am a strong believer in clarity, consistency, accountability and trust. We have established open lines of communication within our team. This two-way dialogue ensures everyone is comfortable sharing their thoughts with the knowledge that they are being actively listened to and given constructive responses. This trust is the cornerstone of any collaborative effort to share ideas, take risks, and work cohesively toward common goals. More importantly, acknowledging successes builds confidence, reinforcing that sense of trust and motivating individuals to continue contributing to the team.

 

What do you think is the biggest strength of ENNOVI right now?

The biggest strength of ENNOVI lies in its clear focus on electrification in mobility, supported by two key pillars: a global footprint and mindset enabling us to serve our customers in all key regions and a lean organizational structure that facilitates innovation, agility and speed. With fewer layers of hierarchy and streamlined decision-making processes, the company can swiftly adapt to market changes, implement innovations, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.


How do you envision ENNOVI in the next 5 years?

ENNOVI’s vision is to become a recognized leader and interconnect solution provider in the e-mobility industry known for its innovative technologies, product designs and manufacturing processes. We are aiming to attract and develop the best talent in the industry providing flexible and excellent customer service. Our strong global presence will enable our customers to get to the electric future faster from anywhere in the world. We envision ourselves to become a significant contributor to the broader shift to sustainability by conducting our activities with social responsibility and minimal environmental impact.   

  

What is the best career advice you would give? 

Keeping a good balance of career planning, passion and adaptability is becoming more and more important in our fast-changing world. Remember that a fulfilling career is not just about reaching the destination; it’s also about enjoying the journey along the way. Continuously reassess your goals, adapt to changes, and be open to new opportunities that align with your evolving aspirations.
