Graduates from the UAG Alumni Puerto Rico Chapter visit the UAG
The alumni toured the facilities and learned about the educational advances of the institution in recent years. Members of the UAG Alumni Puerto Rico Chapter, led by their President, Dr. Jorge Martínez Trabal, visited the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG).
Coming from the Caribbean country, the graduates toured the facilities of the Institute of Biological Sciences and the International Campus, both of which have renovated spaces for the teaching of Medicine.
One of the places they visited was the Simulation Center, which has cutting-edge technology, where students put their knowledge into practice, as well as classrooms, libraries, and other spaces.
Warm Welcome
During the visit, the Puerto Rican graduates were welcomed by Mr. Juan Carlos Leaño del Castillo, Administrative Vice-Rector of the UAG, who thanked them for their visit and reminded them that the UAG will always be their home. Also, the visitors had the opportunity to tour the city of Guadalajara and enjoy its gastronomy and culture.
UAG Alumni
The UAG Alumni Chapters are an initiative of the Autonomous University to strengthen its alumni network worldwide. Currently, there are 16 chapters around the world, of which 14 are in Mexico and two more in Texas and Puerto Rico. The Alumni Association hopes to open new chapters soon, which will continue to help grow its network around the world.
