Knowing the charisma, charm, and impact of HLTH in the US, it was certain that the European arm of this legendary conference was going to be nothing short of inspiring. And it didn’t disappoint! With 3,500+ attendees from over 50 countries, the inaugural event really set the stage for what’s to come with the future of this conference — and the future of healthcare in general!

While HLTH Europe's colorful branding set the scene to energize the crowds, it was action in healthcare that was the primary focus. The favorite health tech hot topics, such as AI, continued to trend, but the focus was less about discovering these innovations and more about how we can make actionable plans to get these technologies integrated and working efficiently to improve healthcare delivery. Experts, leaders, and tech innovators were there to put their ideas and plans into action via meaningful conversations and collaborations that will change healthcare research and delivery for the better.

One of the most exciting trends I spotted at HLTH Europe? AI in Action. Instead of vague discussions, we saw concrete use cases and clear desired outcomes. It's inspiring to see health insurers and governments integrating AI into their core strategies rather than treating it as an afterthought. Concern over safety and security in healthcare AI has been a primary focus over the past years. What has changed? People are now talking about the solutions to these challenges and coming up with answers rather than questions. With accuracy a top priority for us at Infermedica, we were pleased to see this conversation developing in the industry.

Session diversity

Session topics were diverse and there was certainly something for everyone when it came to hearing from industry leaders. Of course, AI was a staple, yet, it was inspirational to see how companies worldwide are integrating it into their strategies. Health equity, FemTech, value-based care, data-driven tech, and primary care were hot topics enjoyed by our InferTeam.

Infermedia at HLTH Europe

For the Infermedica team, HLTH Europe proved to be a huge success. 

1. Maintaining and building relationships: It was truly inspiring to see so many of our clients and partners in attendance. We love these opportunities to meet face-to-face to understand how Infermedica solutions are working together with other brilliant innovations from our current partner listing.
2. New collaborations: Our team was certainly kept on their toes (quite literally) as they met with various health insurers and government organizations to demonstrate current use cases where Infermedica is having a real impact. These interactions also gave the team many insights into the current challenges facing healthcare organizations, giving us new opportunities to learn and grow.
3. Infermedica on stage: We were proud to be presented in two panels on primary care. Firstly, Miłosz Wiciński , Head of Business Development, joined other thought leaders on the topic, “Future Primary Care: How Digital Tools Can Drive Value and Efficiency”. While on Wednesday, our CEO, Piotr Orzechowski , took a deep dive into the importance of investing in primary care, with a panel titled, “Undervalued, underinvested: Why keeping primary care as an afterthought costs lives”.
