How Can Leaders Drive Meaningful Sustainability?

Driving meaningful sustainability requires strong leadership that is knowledgeable, committed, and capable of inspiring change. Sustainability is a significant topic always evolving; it needs to be more sophisticated to be assigned to a Chief Sustainability Officer and then ignored. To create change and long-term solutions, executives from all disciplines must work together to tackle the myriad difficulties that organisations will confront. Boardrooms worldwide are increasingly conducting strategic reviews of an organisation's sustainability utilising an ESG (environment, social, and governance) framework.

Nevertheless, one of the significant challenges in driving meaningful sustainability is the need for more awareness and knowledge among leaders. Ignoring the potential advantages and long-term effects of incorporating sustainability practises into businesses will cause reluctance or resistance to adopting sustainable initiatives.
