How to Create a Lead Magnet

    What is a lead magnet? It’s like a free incentive in a way to get their names, phone number, and email. So, it’s something they may have wanted. Now, those of you who are really, really, starting the way that we started, just generating some ideas for lead magnets is, we would do surveys, we would do polls. We still do them. I did a end of the year 2022, and a beginning of the year, new year, new you, and we polled and surveyed our audience. So, that then tells up what they want, so that we can create more lead magnets from there.

    See, a lot of you, you’re in this old school thinking of, I’m going to build it over here, I’m not going to ask anyone any questions about what they want, and I’m going to pray to God they come and get it. they’re not. You’ve got to be out and asking. That’s the social engagement. So, for you, either do surveys, do polls. You could also join a bunch of groups. People will start telling you what they want. Then you create the lead magnet from what people want, not what you think they need. I can tell you that is a massive mistake of so many entrepreneurs.

    So, that lead magnet is that attraction to you and your content that brings them into your funnel. From the lead magnet, you want their name, number, and email. You’ve got to think, what are they attracted to most with you? And then, as you lure them in, once they start buying, you keep asking them more questions, and generating more money.

    When we first work with you, we’re going to come up with what we call a Customer Journey. Usually, I use quizzes. So, I’ll send you right to www.integratedwealthsystems.com , and you’re going to take a quiz. There are four financial personalities for you. See which one you are. Then that segments you even more. So, now I know more what you want.

    How I start with a lot of my clients and helping them even think about and generate a lead magnet, is I interview you. This is another way to help get some lead magnets out, because you want a variety of them. You want a variety to test what do people want from you. You’ve got to give them what they want first, and then bring them through the Customer Journey.

    We do all this for you, because so many of you are having such a hard time getting any of it done. We call it Rapid Marketing Systems. You have to provide the content and recording. We’re going to give you my campaign structure for AskLoral. How to do a book? How to do a text? How to do follow-ups? How do you do all these things that I use to campaign, using lead magnets to bring you into my database, and my systems?

    That lead magnet, what it is, it’s the first attraction to who you are. Then, what do you do? You got to bring them through a funnel with proper follow-up and proper engagement.

    What are the different types of lead magnets? They are PDF, which is a kind of report. It’s templated downloads, where you can have a whole series of downloads. It could just be an audio file, with some PowerPoint. It could be an actual video with a whole presentation. It could be a checklist. You can do little mini-master classes for 20 minutes or more. It could be a giveaway of some sort of product or service.

    How do you create lead magnets? Have somebody interview you. Just do an audiophile, and have it transcribed. Have someone just put up some graphics for you. You don’t even need to be on camera. You could just have pictures of the product, a different graphic, different overlays, and have it just be done like thumbnails.
