The laws surrounding psychedelic therapy are rapidly changing. Psilocybin therapy in Colorado is becoming increasingly available.
The current laws allow people to provide psilocybin assisted therapy services under the “harm reduction” framework. Under the current laws, it is legal for someone to sit with you. This is to help keep you safe, so that you don't have to go through your experience alone!
Psilocybin sitters may not advertise their services.
Psilocybin sitters can advertise their services if they take some courses and get a license.
You cannot currently take these courses and get licensed. So, you must find someone without them advertising themselves! Tricky, right?
