What does going Gutsy in Business look like for you? Is it to move to a more senior-level in corporate? Transition out of Corporate? Get your business idea off the ground and start your own practice? or maybe to unleash yourself more in your small business to self-promote naturally?

How to Manifest any of these Gutsy Business Goals

I'm often asked how I once survived working as an IT senior manager on Wall St., juggled a business, a few career columns and being a single mom managing to pull it all off with a smile. I won't sugar coat it, it took lots of clarity around what I wanted, being end-game oriented, discipline and a "so what?" gutsy attitude. Who cares what people think? I also cleared the decks and removed a lot of negativity from my environment.

However if there was one thing I had to put my finger on to manifest quickly, it was ALWAYS this one thing, passing this on to share with you as well.

WRITE YOUR GOALS DOWN.

Every 120 days I write down 3 major goals I will achieve. I consider where I'm stuck. What I need to get unstuck and what the action step-by-step plan is to get there. Always relying on my gut which is all I ever talk about here on Linkedin or in my career column a la your gutsy moves that you need to make like right now.

Note: there is one caveat. Emotion must come into play while you're writing. If you're not crying with joy, imagining yourself having achieved it, you're not feeling it and so it isn't a gutsy breakthrough goal worthy of moving you along.

I don't know about you, but I only learn by going step by step, so here's all you need to do:

Step 1: What's your Gutsy Breakthrough Business Goal?

Step 2: Write it Down. What does it look and more importantly what does it feel like?

Step 3: Do you feel like crying when you imagine having achieved it? If yes - you're going gutsy. If no, start over. Repeat. Go back to Step 1 until you feel it from your gut.

There are people in your life who believe in you. I believe in you. Don't let anyone or any situation bring you down. Your talents aren't random, there are people out there who NEED you.  I'm not the only business and career coach empowering women.
