How our business doubled overnight

2015 is going to be an outstanding year for Driverseat. We currently have 6 franchise units open and operating, providing service in 55 cities across Canada.

In the past 4 weeks, we have sold another 6 territories, bring our new total to 12 sold (the next 6 will open up over the next number of months). In addition, we have a significant number of additional franchise leads in Canada (individuals interested in opening their own Driverseat), we are preparing to launch in the U.S. and we are talking to interested parties in two other countries.

How did we go from operating in 6 territories to 12 in a matter of weeks? The answer rests in what we didn't do versus what we did.

Driverseat is a unique business that is scalable, yet allows the franchise owners to work from home, saving the cost and capital of real estate and related expenses. However, as it is such a new concept (we invented a business for driving customer's vehicles for them across 8 service categories), it was important for us to nurture relationships with our prospective franchise owners and to allow them to develop at their own pace. As a result, one of the individuals who recently purchased a franchise territory is someone who has been looking at this since we launched in 2012.

I am confident that our growth pace will escalate, not slow down, as the number of parties interested in opening their own Driverseat continues to grow. This morning alone, I received requests from four more people interested in information to open in their community.

All of this success comes as a result of hard work, dedication and a desire to make a difference. Our franchise partners are second to none. Our team at Driverseat is brave and hard working and not afraid to do whatever it takes to grow the business and our vendors are as much partners as they are suppliers. In addition, our customers continue to support us with their business, kind reviews on social media and referrals.

We are positioned for growth and we are excited for 2015 and beyond!
