How Social Media Ads can be helpful for your business?

When it comes to planning where to spend your marketing budget effectively, advertising on social media is one of the soundest investments you can make. But on social media, originality in advertising actually has found a new canvas, a new playground to explore. And the profession itself is being redesigned in real time.

As a marketing representative I often speak with company owners who just say “We don’t advertise at all. We have our web page and this is our advertising strategy!”. Well, unfortunately 90’s are over and the market offers today thousands of opportunities for effective advertising. It is really sad how some CEO’s just don’t want to make their business grow. Advertising is complex: it’s never a set-it-and-forget-it process. It requires testing and checking, and experimenting with all forms of advertising offers the best chance of showing you what is truly effective.

Each second person today has already a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Pinterest account and the global network is abounds from posts, comments and shares every day.

If you’re likely already sending out multiple Tweets, Facebook Posts and LinkedIn Updates every day some of these messages will resonate with followers; others won’t. Track which ones are being clicked shared and commented on. These high-performing messages make the best candidates for native social ads.

One of the great virtues of social ads is instant feedback. You can gauge the effectiveness of a sponsored post in minutes, and follow up with advanced analytics reports. With all this available data, you should be sending out several “test” ads to small audiences, tracking the results, and then pushing winning ads to larger groups. It’s cheaper and more effective.

Social media is consumed overwhelmingly on mobile devices. Twitter users spend 86 percent of their time on their mobile phones. Facebook users aren’t far behind at 68 percent. This means most social media ads are being viewed on mobile devices, as well. As a result, messages have to be optimized for viewing on small mobile screens. While this may seem like a pain, Twitter recently unveiled a feature enabling paid Tweets to be targeted by zip code, so it’s also a huge advantage.

At its core, online advertising is about supplementing your current marketing activities to accelerate lead generation. Advertising on social media should always relate back to your overall social media, marketing, and business goals. First know what you’re looking to achieve, and then choose which advertising option on social media helps you achieve that!

Amplify your message through experimentation, measurement, and analysis with social media advertising to generate more leads faster, and at a lower cost than most other channels.
