How to visualize the light attenuation radius in Unreal Engine 5.3

One of the features of Unreal Engine is the ability to visualize the light attenuation radius of point lights, spot lights and Rect Lighst in the editor. This can help you adjust the lighting parameters and optimize the performance of your scene. To view the attenuation radius in Unreal Engine 5.3, follow these steps:

1. Verify that Game View is not activated

Viewport Option > Game View Uncheked        

Note: Keyboard shortcut for Game View is G.

Game View Disable

2. Enable Light Radius

Show > Advanced > Light Radius checked        

Note: Keyboard shotcut for Light Radius is Alt + R.

Light Radius Enable

3. Selects the Light Actor from the Editor or the Outliner

Find the light actor inside the editor or outliner and left click on it.

Select the Light Actor

4. In the details panel select the LighComponent of the light actor

The radius of attenuation of the light actor can now be displayed in the editor.
