Asparagus and fried eggs

Luzette, my go-to bistro in the centre of Stockholm, is currently having a special asparagus and Alsace wine menu until the 28th of April. Crisp wines from Alsace are paired with dishes including both the green and white varieties of asparagus.

At Baladi Grill, you can order freshly baked pitas and Shakshuka with various toppings for lunch or dinner (I opted for the smashed kebab)—a winning concept.

Urban Diner is Urban Deli’s new restaurant and bar concept opens in Hagastaden's new Forskaren building. It's a cross between an American diner and a French bistro. It's also open for lunch and dinner and worth a visit.

Fantasy weekend meal:

Fried egg with asparagus. Sourdough toast.

Fried eggs with asparagus recipe:

Get the thinnest green asparagus you can find, a bunch of 250g, and trim the woody ends. Take two small frying pans, add some butter and fry two eggs in each. Whilst these are frying, cook your asparagus in some boiling salted water for 2 mins (or until tender). Drain and toss with some more butter. Place your eggs on the plate, scatter your asparagus over, season, and serve. Smaklig måltid.
