** I have a Voice**
I have a Voice
Do you, too, have a voice?
If so, we can together feel fine
As I myself, just like you, have a human face
A difference shall be made, for sure, if we together combine.
***
Do you believe, like me, that a voice indeed matters?
And that there are countless zones we can collectively embrace
While you see our complexions not thresholds or identity-papers
And as far as you know we'll be enshrined in the same spirit and by the same grace.
***
I guess we could have the same voice if you feel you are as vulnerable as I am,
Or if you think (that) what counts is the volumes of truths we surely hold to
And the strength of the threads that anchor our lives and keep us calm
Just as a yacht talking to a seashore nail, either wooing it or resorting to
***
You know equally as I do (that) without our inner heartbreaks
We can neither know how a World would feel in the eternal absence of a sunrise
Nor how do tears look would like on a Mom's heart or an orphan’s cheeks
