Series production of new charging station for public car parks started

HEIDELBERG is ready to benefit from the increasing demand for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany. A study by the National Centre for Charging Infrastructure projects a need for up to 840,000 public charge points by 2030, driven by the increasing adoption of electric cars. HEIDELBERG, through its subsidiary Amperfied GmbH, has achieved a significant milestone by delivering the first AC charging stations that comply with calibration law. The connect.public charging station, designed for public car parks, companies, retailers, hotels, and municipalities, features two charge points with a 22-kW output each. The ergonomic design of the new charging station allows wheelchair users to easily reach and operate the charging sockets, display and RFID identification field. More details here
