1. Can you tell us about current trends in Healthcare Cleaning?

"Some recent trends that I've been noticing are definitely in the automated room disinfection space. There are also trends in being able to manage data of where people are cleaning, how they are performing, and how much time is being used. So there's a lot of automation on the human factor side. There are more connected rooms and ways to optimise different cleaning activities (…)."

2. Can you tell us about challenges in Healthcare Cleaning?

"The current challenges remain that environmental hygiëne is traditionally a field that is not invested into by healthcare instutitions. It's underfunded, it's undervalued. The people that are actually doing the cleaning are also undervalued and underpaid. And they are not given the attention, or the management, or the training, or the salaries that they deserve (...)."
