As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year, and what a year it’s been!

This year we officially launched to the public, onboarded sector experts and had users sign-up from around the world. We continued to add a bunch of new features to help you work smarter and faster, and we’re excited to share what's next. If you're not yet on board why not click here to try it out.

Content: New Reference Material

True to our mission, we are continuing to create libraries of reference material that help all industry sectors build knowledge collaboratively.

We are working with a number of expert partners to develop the content in our open Social Libraries and now have hundreds of assets covering the Green Economy and Diversity and Inclusion. We’re always looking for suggestions for suitable topics which we should cover in new Social Libraries. If you have any ideas or want to get the benefit of being in our partner network, please let us know.

Tools: Developing Foundational Features

Insightflow is a technology business and we are dedicated to creating a best-of-breed set of tools and processes to drive knowledge productivity.

Here’s a quick rundown of our new and upcoming features:

Recently Added:

• Asset editor enhancements: Try our enriched editing features to display your content exactly how you want it or add embedded content with a single line
• Social login: Easily log in with your Google account so you don’t have to remember yet more usernames and passwords
• Uploads: Upload a wide variety of file types (pdf’s, video, audio etc.) from any device or cloud service into your workspace or library
• Mobile: We’ve made the platform even more accessible on mobile, so you can easily build and share knowledge anywhere, anytime
• Deep linking: Link colleagues or users directly to specific pages or assets and we’ll take them there once they’ve logged in or signed-up
• Improved Search: We’ve been continuously improving our search to help you find useful information faster, including more tags available to filter
• Subscriptions: Enjoy private libraries and increased storage with our new subscription tiers. Prefer our free social libraries instead? Why not log in now and add your knowledge, or donate towards their upkeep here

Libraries for Everything

We have been working on making the library structure more useful. It now offers a number of different options which will help you achieve different business objectives.

Q1 is all about enhanced collaboration

We believe that Insightflow should make it easier for people to exchange and build knowledge collaboratively regardless of industry. In Q1 we plan to make it even easier to allow experts to collaborate with people that need their expertise on very specific questions and topics.

New features we are working on include:

• Collaborative editing (like Google Docs you can work simultaneously with other users)
• Customisable library homepages so you can brand libraries and showcase the content and contributors
• Activity feeds so you can easily see what others are working on
• Automatically labelling text to make it easier to identify where things (e.g. people, locations, organisations) are mentioned and search for them
• Embeddable knowledge cards which allow you to embed rich information about People, Events, Companies, Products / Services and Information Resources directly in the content
