Interview questions in SAP FICO

Whenever you go and attend a technical interview in SAP FICO area, lots of business scenario based questions are asked. One such question with detailed answer is mentioned here. Kindly go through. It might be very useful to you.  

Business Issue: Change Reconciliation account during FI Posting (without using SGL indicator)

Business Scenario based interview questions: Business wants that the reconciliation account should be an editable field because business has requirement to maintain 2 or more Reconciliation account for the same vendor. They do not want to post all transactions in the single Reconciliation account.

Or, Can we change the Reconciliation account while posting the FI Invoice which is copied from the master data of the Customer/Vendor? If yes, how can we achieve that in the SAP system without using the special GL indicator?

Solution: Below settings are required in order to achieve the above business scenario without using SGL.

Go to the T code OBD4, Select the account group where the Recon account is maintained as shown below. Double click on the Document Entry (Highlighted in yellow)

In the next screen make the Reconciliation account ready for input as Optional Entry status.

Now go to the T code: S_ALR_87002480 and assign the different alternative GL account as shown below:

Now Go to the T code FS00 and select the main Reconciliation GL account and Select the highlighted option as show below:

Now go to the T code FB01, FB70, and post the FI invoice, the Reconciliation account field will be ready for Input (Editable) as shown below.

Now suppose we want to achieve the same scenario in MIRO T code, then below business function needs to be activated.
